As a company we try to put a little back into good causes, and to be as socially and environmentally responsible as we can be... We work with some excellent organizations that are all about helping others or looking after specal things, and it only seems right that we do a little as well...
SOKO KENYA We have recently helped (in a small way) a fantastic project called SOKO Kenya. SOKO Kenya is a clothing production workshop for the export market that aims to create sustainable, fair employment and offer training and skills to some of Kenya's poorest people. SOKO's vision is to improve the quality of life for Ukunda's population. Some relatively tiny sums of money can make a very direct difference to people's lives through this project.  | KIVA We are keen supporters of KIVA the micro-finance project and have to date made eleven loans to businesses in the developing world. We invest in community projects that are led by groups of women and put in modest amounts of money with many other people to try and help businesses to develop. To date we have helped support projects in Cambodia, South Sudan, Bolivia, Rwanda, Peru, Sierra Leone, Kyrgystan, Dominican Republic, Equador and Paraguay.  | LAKE DISTRICT RED KITE REINTRODUCTION PROGRAMME We have recently signed up as fundraisers for Nurture Lakeland to raise money for the Red Kite reintroduction project which is currently starting the process of bringing these fantastic birds back to the Cumbria. |

 | LOCAL GOOD CAUSES We do our best to support our local community and have been at the heart of organizing and managing the Newby Garden Festival in our village which has, over the past three years, raised c. £3,500 for Morland Primary School and Little Treasures Nursery. We also provide free advice (where possible) for local not-for-profit organizations that are about helping others. |
In addition to this we also have a strong policy of reducing our carbon footprint, and minimising our impact on the environment.
